SK Austria Klagenfurt “Kärnten singt Weihnachtslieder”
The premiere in December 2019 was a huge success and made the eyes of young and old viewers shine. At that time, those responsible at Austria Klagenfurt hoped to establish “Kärnten sings Weihnachtslieder” as a fixed event during the Advent season – but the corona pandemic thwarted this plan. Now it’s finally that time again: On December 11 (5 p.m.) great artists will form the biggest choir of the winter with the audience in the 28 BLACK Arena.
At that time, 5,000 visitors came to Waidmannsdorf to sing with the musicians. A number that is also expected this year. Of course, coach Peter Pacult and the Violette soccer pros will also be there. What is sung? From “Silent Night, Holy Night” to “The Snow is Falling Softly” to “Last Christmas”, everything is included.
The net proceeds from the second edition of “Carinthia sings Christmas carols” will benefit the JUNO Klagenfurt association. The youth night shelter supports homeless young people between the ages of twelve and 21 with places to sleep, washing facilities and food. In addition, they are accompanied as they approach and re-integrate into their families.
Tickets are available for adults for 13 euros (reduced: 10 euros) and children for 5 euros and are available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and in the Austria Klagenfurt online shop. “Carinthia sings Christmas carols” is supported by Antenne Kärnten again this year.
